Banerjee Beats - Anushka & Akanksha's Duo

Anushka Banerjee 

Anushka is from Northern CA, she can sing Indian and Western songs and play the piano. Anushka was the only teenager in the Singing Team that performed at the Opening Ceremony of NABC (North America Bengali conference 2017 at Santa Clara). She is one of the budding singer here in US. She is passionate about singing from a very young age. She was winner in lot of local competitions in Bay area, like Tarangini, FoG music competition. She also worked with Anananjan Chakrabarty and Indrojit Dey (Indro) famous Bengali music director in Kolkata.

Akanksha Banerjee 

Akanksha Banerjee is from Northern California, USA. She can play the saxophone as well as the piano, trumpet and sing. She has been learning the saxophone for almost six years and has been in the topmost tier bands of both her Middle and High schools. She started playing Bollywood songs on the saxophone about three years ago and was a winner at a local competition. Currently, she performs at local bay area events including ticketed shows, charity shows, live streams, and karaoke events. She has also worked with bengali musicians like Anananjan Chakraborty and indrajit dey indro to film a music video of the remix of janne jaan and Hawa ke sath sath. Apart from her keen interest in music, she also has photography, baking and making clothes as her other hobbies.
